Hi All. I have a 1955 house. In the living room there is solid coving. It’s not your usual polystyrene or plaster board stuff its solid plaster! It had all been covered with a textured finish, I used a heat gun and this all peeled off. However under this is this coving which is chipped on the edges and generally looks a bit tatty. I don’t really want to pull it all off as I have to use a hammer and bolster and would end up needed the ceiling and walls the be re-plastered. I'd love to repair it or get someone in. It’s not fancy Victorian just normal coving.
