‘Justified City Primeval’ Recap: Season 1 Episode 8 — Finale

The Raylan and Winona scene was maybe the best scene in the series along with the BOYD CROWDER appearance! I legit teared up when Winona asked him “why now?” you could almost hear her voice crack. And I love what Dinner says above about what she’s really asking and Raylan knows it too. Him saying “I wonder why I didn’t do this earlier” felt like an ode to what could have been with Winona, what could have been with his life.

Also, I feel like the showrunners massively miscalculated people’s interest in the Carolyn/Raylan subplot. No one, and I mean no one, needs to see a grown man helping bathe Carolyn. What a weird and awkward scene that did not do what it was intended to do. All I kept thinking was, it looks like he is helping an elderly woman take a bath.
