Hi General,
went to vegas briefly in 1997.... probably changed an bit since then - Can't say I'm much of a gambling man though, we were passing through on a tour and had a couple of nights in Circus Circus... at the time they were biulding the hotel with the rollercoaster on the outside / top of it ( that I would have done if it was operational !). One thing I do remember is the scorching hot wind (it was in June) - it was like a giant hairdryer close up to your face.
If you are there long enough you could connsider taking a trip to the Grand Canyon or one of the smaller (but still breathtaking) canyons such as Bryce canyon may be worth a day out and if the budget allows maybe a small plane trip over the Grand Canyon ( I'm pretty sure they do charters from Vegas).

The village
I'm back from Vegas and still in one piece (just about). Great place and an awsome destination for a stag do but i was delighted to leave. Didn't do any of the day trips but drunk alot, ate alot and gambled alot. Thanks for the tips scotty. I had to promise to take my future wife to vegas as part of the negotiations over going there for my stag, so will do the Grand Canyon then.
One thing we did that i would not recommend to anyone is the rides on top of the stratosphere hotel. Absolutely mental and far and away the scariest ruides i've ever been on.
I've now got 4 days left until i get married. Now that really is scary!
Sorry we couldn't take you Village, probably fore the best as you would probably have ended up staying out there working as an elvis impersonator or something.
The General
Hello all, it's been a while since my last visit as i have been planning my wedding. Not long to go now and even less time until my stag do in Vegas! I'm going with 6 friends and none of us have been before, so i thought i'd see if anyone here has been before.
We're staying at the MGM and i'm planning on winning a lot of money. Poker's my personal favourite but i've always thought the game with 2 dice that they seem to play on the holleywood movies looks pretty exciting so i'll be giving that a go.
Any advice or tips of good places to go would be much appreciated.
Ps, please no scare stories about grooms getting stiched up on stag do's, i'm already scared enough.
