Thought it was a bit quieter than usual General , I trust you had a good chilled out break and drank copious amounts of plonk.
Its's been a bit quiet in the news recently... the last two British WW1 vets both died within the last week or so - don't think swine flu was involved there though !

I did have a nice break thanks Scotty, but being back at work for the last couple of weeks has been less plesant.
I noticed it was a little quiet on here also. Summer holidays i reckon, or maybe the credt crunch has really kicked in and people have been cutting back on their DIY.
With regard to swine flue, i've been suffering from the sniffles myself of late, but i'm pretty sure it is just a common cold.

Just got back from 2 weeks in France, where i had no access to the internet, no tv and only managed to get my hands on a couple of newspapers. Just been catching up and it seems like the country has gone swine flue mad. Anyone on here had it yet? Am i right in thinking the media are blowing it all out of proportion in the usual style.
The country also seems to be in full Ashes swing, plus Man City seem to be spending alot of money.
Did anything else happen why i was away?
