Plumbing Forum > Radiator Fittings
Not a great fan of Speedfit / plastic pipes in general but any decent local plumbers merchant will be able to help and will probably have various options . It may be that best option will be a simple 15mm compression elbow with a 15 to 10mm reducing set in one end (you should be able to use compression fittings on plastic pipe so long as you have the correct pipe inserts / stiffeners inserted).
Good luck

Hi Scotty,
Many thanks for your speedy response to my question. No, I must say that I would hesitate before using plastic pipe and fittings as I have never used them before, but we have just moved into a newish house with system already fitted. I must say though it is fairly neat the way it is which is why I wanted to stick with what was there. I like the way you can take the radiator off the wall to decorate behind without disconnecting pipes. Anyway will try different merchants to see what they have.
Thanks again.

Try MICROBORE MERCHANTS 0208 643 0011
they do not seem to have a web site but they have been there for ever, I bought MB fittings from them

Hello,
I need to move some radiators, 10mm plastic piping on a closed feed pressurised system, coming out of the wall behind the radiator to flow and return. I am not worried about doing the job it's just that I can't find one of the radiator fittings online or anywhere. It is a 90deg elbow 15mm compression fitting from bottom of valves to 10mm push fit plastic pipe. Material is chrome plated brass. I know it will be OK to use the old ones on the compression fitting side but have my doubts about the push fit side again without at least replacing the O rings etc inside. I'm not sure of manufacturer but pipe and plastic fittings are whitish colour so suspect they may be speedfit. I have looked on various plumbing sites but can only find a plastic elbow which doesn't look as good. Would be grateful if someone could help.
Many Thanks.
