Hi im having the same trouble with my boiler
If you have a look in the installation and servicing instructions booklet on page 32
it tells you all the error codes there
Error code 504 is a flame lift
But it doesnt explain what this is !!!
starving the flame of air.
I've been trying to sort this Error 504 with the manufacturers servicing company for about 3 months with no luck. Its like living in an earthquake zone when the boiler is on with the rumbling noise it makes and if you run the hot water too long it goes into Error 504. Sorry I was ever talked into getting a combi boiler as for Ariston would never buy one again.
I've had this error on my boiler this morning error 504 Flame Lift. I've reset the boiler but what has caused this & will it now keep repeating.
yes useally it will keep on doing it.
causes
lack of air for combusion
rubbish on burner
etc.
has it been serviced ?
The boiler is brand new only fitted just before Christmas.
get the install back who fitted it.
it can be many reasons and all need to be done by a corgi.
does the flue go out the wall or up out the roof ?
Flue goes out the wall horizontal, spoke to install he said could just be a bit of flux from the instalation.
abit of flux from installation.
whats he doing with flux in the boiler ? all pipework is outside of boiler.
tell him he fitted it if he thinks its flux then remove it.
no good guessing over the phone get round and do it.
he's fobbing you off i would say.
504 is most likely that the boiler has not been commissioned
If the boiler has been fitted & certified by the CORGI fitter doesn't this mean that the boiler has been commisioned. I also having trouble with Error 504 (flame lift) but everytime I have the plumber out he can't find the cause of the problem.
Getting this problem lately, but think it's down to my downstairs bathroom. Think it may be dropping pressure to boiler when someone flushes the toilet then uses the taps while filling up & at sametime someone is running tap in kitchen. Is this a possibility & if so is there a fix.
Boiler: Aristion (Clas He System 18, 24, 30)
Age: 1 year (estimated)
I think I have this same problem....I was sure it said error 504, but when i looked in the booklet it doesnt list that error, however it does list 5p4, which is "3 Flame cut-offs detected in one cycle" , even if it was error 504, all the error's listed in the booklet under 5's , I.E 501, 502 etc, are to do with "Ignition and Detections" so think it may be something to do with this.
I spoke to my Landlord who seems to think its because of the timer that is connected to the boiler - confusing the boiler, However surely this would not be manufactured and set up so that it would cause the boiler to be "confused", Anyway we have set the water to be ON all the time, and going to see how it copes. I think the Landlord may be fobbing us off just to please us.
This info has no real "fix" but i am not clued up on boilers, thought i would add info though.
its an ignition fault, miss fire according to tech help

Hi there,
Does anyone know what error code 504 stands for - there seems to be no reference???
I get 5p3 and have to keep reseting the boiler every 2 hours. Going out of my mind - any takers????
Cheers in advance!!!!
