Agree with Hi spec but would add that I start from a batten 1 tile up from where bath edge will be and only fit the bath once the whole room is tiled (except the row of tiles immediately above bath which is done after bath fit) . This way you are not climbing over the bath to tile and there is less chance of dropping a tile onto the new bath (its been done and it ain't funny !) !!

do you normally tile the walls and then fit th ebath against it or do you fit the batrh and then tile down onto it. my bath will have a shower in it so i dont want leaks?
