Planning wiring for an extension and outdoor low energy lights are required to be switched on with a timer switch.
Would these lights be best fed off a fused spur of the ring, then into a timer? I have found 1 timer with a fcu built in, which looks ideal.

Only problem is that in the spec it says it needs 40w minimum current (says per bulb). Looking to install 8 x 5w low wattage units, so just in!!!
Has anybody any experience with low wattage lights and switch timers who could advise thanks..
