Electrical Forum > Super studio water heating
Your strategy sounds Ok to me , with the removal of the bath then your need for a high volume of stored water is gone. I am assuming that there is no boiler in the flat for heating ? Gas ?
The undersink units you mentioned - were you thinking of seperate units for kitchen and bathroom sink ? There are units suitable for supplying two outlets. Also - with your proposed shower have you factored in the cost of gettig suitable electric circuit added to suport the shower - you would need to get this added by a pro and could be expensive .

Thanks for the response Scotty
Your reply is just what i needed to hear and its good i have the option of getting a unit that could supply both the bathroom and kitchen together. There is already a shower on the wall ( that has never worked in the 5 years i have been there) and its got a slot in the fuse box, so hopefully all the electrics i need are already there.
Heating is seperate, i did have storage heaters on the wall but they have been ripped out and will either be replaced with new stoarge heaters or a panel heater in the bedroom and one in the living room plus i may put an electric fire in but more for a feature than anything else. I dont really have the heating on that much i would rather stick a jumper on :D
Would you have any idea for heating?

Hello my first post,
I have a 1 bed super studio flat and was wondering if its possible to dispose of the water tank and immersion heater i currently have to heat my water. I think its possible but need some advice. I want to get rid of them because it frees up valuable space which i can utilise as a walk in wardrobe for the bedroom area. Could i simply for the kitchen use an undersink water heater for washing up and for the bathroom the same for the sink and run the electric shower straight from the mains or would it be better to use a sink/shower combi for the bathroom. I have a bath at the moment but want to replace this with a shower cubicle. All new washing machines run from the cold mains supply nowadays i understand so no need for hot water there.
In theory is this possible or practicle. I dont really use a lot of water as i live there on my own.
Any help would be gladly appreciated :)
