The Building Experience DIY Forum > Is it too early for Jacko jokes ?
i got 7 texts by 8am
You gonna share any of them ?
Reports that michael Jackson suffered a heart attack have turned out to be inccurate. Apparently he died having a stroke in the childrens ward.
I've got about another 5 but that's my favourite.
On a serious note i was devastated when i heard the news because i'd heard reports of one of the music industries superstars passing and i thought/hoped it might be that tw@t from U2.
Whats the difference between Micheal Jackson and Sir Alex Fergusson........ ?
Sir Alex will be playing Giggs in August
I have a few
Any worth sharing Village ?...............
The Investigators are now saying his heart attack could have been brought about by him tripping up over a childs pushchair... .... but they are quick to point out that it's to soon to ' blame it on the buggy'
....Sorry , crap Iknow but it made me laugh !!
When Farrah Fawsett arrived at heaven & and god granted her one wish she wished for all the children to be safe. So god killed MJ.
Michael Jackson did manage a brief whisper to paramedics on his way to hospital........'put me on the childrens ward!'
MJ hasn't been this stiff since MacAuly Culkin spent the night at Neverland......
I must say I am upset that jokes around such sad occassions seem to be the ''in thing'' but it must hurt the family left and who are greiving. Just because they are famous does nt give permission for hurtful remarks. I know its human nature but I lost my dad a little while ago and if any one had made a joke of it i would have been devastated.
Jokes are jokes Lisa-J nothing more.
Wouldn't it be a very sad world if we were too scared to express our feelings through humour or otherwise without the worry of offending someone. Yes, a loss is a loss and harder for those close to take in but we can't go around being dressed in cotton wool all of the time.
This is a 'building experience' website where people talk openly, give frank accounts and opinions as well as sound advice and on occasion have a laugh - hardly the crime of the century is it?
We all deal with things in different ways depending on circumstances or the person involved - for example my grandfather passed away. We were close but instead of a tearful goodbye we had a good laugh and a few beers to celebrate his life. That's the way he was and what he would have wanted.
Jacko was an entertainer to some, a weirdo to others but we all lived with it. The jokes are entertainment to some....
regarding the point of lisa-j, i am not sure that tito, janet and the others are that into diy, so i suspect the opinions expressed here on a forum (def. of a forum.... a public place where people can express opinions) will slip by unnoticed by the (very few genuinely) bereaved.

anybody heard any good Jacko jokes yet ?
