Hey Lee,
It really depends what effect you are trying to get. I painted my bathroom ceiling navy blue, which seemed odd at the time but the rest of the walls and floor are a warm cream travatine so it gave the room a real 'hotel bathroom' feel (well I thought so anyway).
White is quite cold so you may want to go with a warm hue, turqouise can come up a bit cold too, so why not look at warmer richer colours. Its all about getting the warmth into there, and also try a big mirror to make it feel bigger?
Have you considered a darker colour, a friedn of mine has black slate everywhere in there bathroom so its dark but very enticing!
When you do it put up a picture for us to see!
Hope this helps,
Charlie

Hello, just looking for advice on what colour to paint my bathroom. The bathroom is quite small, half the room is covered by white tiles. There are black tiles on the floor, and the other half - the walls are white.
I went for a turqouise colour and settled with Grecian Spa 5 (dulux paint), after liking the sample colour.
After painting the wall with this im not really sure i like it so am trying to find an alternative colour.
The rest of the house is painted ivory colour.
Any ideas ????
Cheers
Lee
