are these any good or just diy gimmick. do profesionals use them. can you use any paint with them. i remember hearing the dulux paint pod was no good. the paint mate looks even more amateur than the pod. my girls dad bought a paint pro and kept telling me how good it was. then i discovered he had never even used it!!!!! he lives up north so i can not borrow his, but i am tempted to buy one as they are quite cheap. one of the main issues for me is time. i am short of it so if this will make decorating my house much quicker i would prob sacrifice quality but only slightly.

if it was that good why arent all the painters and decorators in the trade using them? because they are a waste of time and money, and if they were that good they wouldnt be cheap.

if you rush the job cutting corners its going to look crap, just invest in a good roller and brushes and they will last you for years if you take care of them.
