hiya i have repainted all my inside doors and got gloss white all over the hinges and handles. whats the best way to get the paint off? i think they are all brass which i dont want to damahe

the best way to prevent getting paint on the handles is to take them off before painting.
As for the hinges if there is quite a bit of gloss your only option might be to paint them completely......if there isn't a lot of paint on then just use a filling knife to scrape it off

the way i do it when im working for a customer who's handles have got paint on is to buy some Nitromors pour it in to a bucket and then one at a time dip the handle in the bucket making sure to get where the paint has gone covered in Nitromors , then put the handle in another bucket, repeat till you have all the handle dipped and in the other bucket then just wash and dry them.

as for the hinges Telboy is right theres not much you can do, other than taking them all off and dipping them in Nitromors but it will take for ever to take the doors off then clean the hinges then re hang the doors
