The Really Safe Flooring Company

Trade – Specialist Cleaning and Floor treatments

Typical Works Performed – Application of anti-slip treatments to raise grip on existing surfaces. Specialist renovation of all surfaces, especially natural stone. Specialist Sealing

Trading area – Nationwide

Number of years trading – 15

Number of Employees – 6

Perks of the job – Variation, no two jobs are ever the same.

Downsides of the job – The large amount of traveling involved, the M25 is officially the worst road in the country

Biggest Challenge Facing your Company /Industry – The reluctance of many to recognise the importance of having safe floors, whether in the initial specification or after installation. Most jobs we receive are reactionary, after someone has had a fall, rather than precautionary.

Funniest moment – The number of looks on peoples faces when I have cleaned back a tile they thought was grey and shown them that they are in fact white. Also, the often hilarious references to our name we get from many a white van man.

How we advertise – We tend to advertise in construction and Leisure magazines as a lot of our work is commercial based. However a large amount of our domestic work comes from word of mouth and through our close workings with tile companies. Also we do two large shows per year which brings in a large amount of business for us.

What sets your company apart – The fact that we can achieve results that no-one else can. We not only clean back floors to give them an ‘as new’ look but also seal them with products that come with a fifteen year guarantee, making the maintenance of the floor far easier afterwards. Combined with this, through our vast experience we have also sourced some of the best cleaning products available to tackle things such as calcium deposits and body fats, and we often work with clients to create an efficient and effective cleaning schedule to keep the floors looking their best.
