Help, I have bought a house that has quite a lot of cracks around a window and where the 1st floor extention meets the ground floor wall, which was built in the 80's. Is it falling down? Also, is there a way of repairing these cracks? Some of the cracks are 2mm wide. Amazingly these cracks were not picked up in the survey.

cracks in render or brickwork? probably a sign of some movement rather than falling down but 2mm is quite big, especially if this is brick. if render than it may not be such a bad sign
